Farmville, Tower Staker, and now movies?
That’s right you read that correctly. The entire MTV’s Jackass catalog will be available to Facebook users for Facebook credits. This isn’t exactly the first steam of films that are being available to the social networking platform. Facebook has also been provided films by companies like Warner Bros as well.
Just when we though that Facebook was the endless provider of distractions, hell, I have even had to install a program called “Self-Control” for my MacBook, to block sites for a certain amount of time, and keep me productive. As if we don’t have enough games, apps, and quizzes to distract ourselves with. Facebook is looking to become a mini-netflix. Reddit has been like crack cocaine to me, and I’m sure a lot of other people. There are plenty of rage comics out there that outline the bane of our distractions.
And what is to stop these very same Facebook users from going to Megavideo, or other sites to just stream these movies. Credits on Facebook are usually purchased. How much profit this will all make future studios that do this is yet to be seen.
Hide yo’ laptop. Hide yo’ iPhone. Cause they’re distracting ‘errbody out here!

Ah. The pleasures of living in the electronic age.
